InsureMyTrip.com’s Paid Social: Covered

If you’re wondering what InsureMyTrip.com is, thing “Kayak, for travel insurance.” In their efforts to provide unbiased info that helps travelers compare insurance plans from top providers, I got to create and execute paid social campaigns that increased referral traffic to their website by 114%.

The Insight & Execution:

The insight was literally right in front of me—the client had already been using the headline “You like options, we do too” in some banner ads, but it wasn’t everywhere. I had the opportunity to use their existing messaging to tell a cohesive story (and get creative in market quickly, a priority on their end). Working with my design colleagues, we created a full paid social campaign with video, static image, carousel and Stories placements on Meta.

The Result:

In addition to the 114% increase in referral traffic, the solid creative, combined with custom-built audiences, earned upwards of 1,300 clicks per campaign while keeping the CPC below $0.50. Oh, and they earn an extra 200 followers per month.
